KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensures that all necessary information and documents concerning outbound cargoes are promptly and accurately disseminated to concerned parties, internal and external. Inquires the departure / arrival of carrier with various shipping lines and co-loaders / airlines In charge of weekly reservation and booking with shipping lines / airlines, upon receipt of Transport Order from ODS Acts as key contact for customer service teams / manages adhoc & on demand engagement Accepts and monitors the Bookings / Registrations of shipment ID in CW1 before departure as part of the station process Creates and confirms transport order to ensure pickup of the shipment at origin Performs booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines as defined by Product Prepares final Air Waybill for submission to carrier on or before departure. Prepares, proofreads, controls and distributes all required Export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.) complying with regulations and internal procedures Prepares request for check/payment for freight and other related bills. Make sure that all related documents are uploaded in eDocs on time. Checks responses from counterparts and finalizes validation of required documents Follows-up shipment status in the Export area, identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents Ensure on time, complete and accurate turnover of documentation, rates (selling & cost) to designated biller. Supports Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolution Maintains excellent relationships with suppliers / carriers etc Responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers and proposes solutions to improve/correct performance Performs IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipment Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and Global Business Services, if required To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company Active participation in the operational process contributing positively to Countries SLA’s and Country operational KPI’s Individual fulfilling this role is expected, as a minimum, to manage and maintain individual level profitability, revenue recognition and cost control leading to the highest level of financial health per shipment Take reasonable care of their own and other people’s Health and Safety in the workplace Report hazards in your work or in your environment that may be putting you or anyone’s Health & Safety at risk.
