Job Purpose: The Sales and Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, supporting the sales team in identifying customer requirements, and ensuring competitive, accurate, and timely tender submissions. This role plays a key part in aligning the company’s offerings with client needs while ensuring compliance with technical standards and commercial objectives. Job Context: Operating within the Sales Department, the Sales and Tendering Engineer serves as a bridge between customers, the commercial team, and engineering/operations. The position involves reviewing specifications, estimating costs, preparing bids, and ensuring alignment with sales strategies and company profitability goals. Key Accountabilities: These will include:
• Actively reviewing specifications and product review to monitor any changes made by the customer.
• Involvement with the preparation of tenders and quotations, throughout the full stages of creation, to include Obtaining drawing approvals completing Guaranteed Technical Particulars of the tenders and submittals.
• Preparation of technical submittals, obtaining drawing approval for all successful sales/inquiries.
• Handling technical queries/clarifications with the customers and respond in a timely manner.
• Attending Sales Openings when required.
• Maintain relationships with customers, distributors etc.,
• Coordinate with Sales Director and Contract Engineering Manager to ensure correct materials are quoted for.
• Coordinating with end customers when required.
• To ensure timely deliveries as per the tender requirement through monitoring and dialogue with the Commercial Manager.
• Attending Exhibitions and Sales Promotions on behalf of the Company, which could be outside Thailand.
• Travelling, which may incur overnight stays outside Thailand.
• Issue Tendering Monthly report to the Sales Manager. Secondary activities / tasks:
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the Sales Department.
• Adheres to the established safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedure.
• Working with broad team in other department in the identification of proper and correct materials, part assemblies and requirements for a variety of requisitions necessary for the job/task to coordinate and drive business success.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company’s business and staff. Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Minimum Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0-3 Years with similar industry working knowledge is a plus point.
• Experience in medium voltage equipment (e.g., switchgear) is a strong advantage.
• A passion for excellence and a proven ability to succeed.
• Must be customer focused and has ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must be flexible to attend to customer complaints anytime of the day.
• Incoterms and Documentary Credit experience.
• Plan and conduct presentations to potential and current clients.
• Mature judgment can priorities and the ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to complete a variety of tasks in any single day.
• Good Interpersonal, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Computer literate and excellent knowledge in Microsoft office and outlook.
• Valid Thai Driving License.

Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated customers to develop new relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints. Customer Needs Clarification Interview the customer, following a complex multilevel sales script, to clarify the customer's requirements, or assist in conducting interviews with potential customers, making detailed notes to collect client requirements. Sell Customer Propositions Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale. Sales Opportunities Creation Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data Enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities. Operational Compliance Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards. Work Scheduling and Allocation Organize own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary. Performance Management Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance. Personal Capability Building Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
Education: Upper Secondary School General Experience: Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months) Managerial Experience: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
