Manager - Legal (Conveyancing) Key Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the review, drafting, negotiating, finalising, and execution of all forms of legal contracts, primarily notarial execution documents up to registration at the relevant land registries, including the respective searches at the relevant land registries, including title work, the preparation of title reports and advising the management in relation thereto and the completion of projects assigned in relation thereto • Completion of projects assigned in relation to all forms of land matters. • Support the full spectrum of legal activities taking place as and when required across the sector, including reviewing, drafting and finalising legal contracts/agreements Candidate Profile:
• Should be an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Prior experience in a similar capacity and possession of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree will be an added advantage • Possess a Notarial License (Sinhala and English Language) to practice in the Judicial Zone of Colombo with a minimum of 10 years' post-qualifying experience • Similar position in the banking industry or a finance company would definitely be an added advantage. • Experience in conveyancing in a local context will be preferred • Excellent command of English and Sinhala (both verbal and written) and a dynamic team player with excellent interpersonal skills • Competence in MS Office suite is a prerequisite for this position If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please click on "Apply Now".
