Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements: Extensive software engineering experience within regulated medical devicesPrincipal, Lead, Architect or equivalent senior technical experienceStrong knowledge of IEC 62304 and the medical device software development lifecycleStrong software architecture and systems-level engineering experienceBroad technical understanding across software, embedded/firmware and signal processing or algorithm developmentExperience supporting medical devices through regulatory approval and commercial releaseHands-on technical background with the ability to contribute directly to development and complex problem-solving Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership across software development, architecture and engineering best practiceOwn and evolve the software architecture across the medical device platformLead technical decision-making across Software, Signal Processing and Firmware interfacesEnsure software development aligns with IEC 62304 and wider medical device requirementsSupport regulatory submissions and the progression of products towards commercial releaseProvide technical guidance to internal engineers, contractors and external development partnersRemain hands-on with software development, code reviews, testing, documentation and troubleshooting Technologies: ArchitectEmbeddedFirmwareSupport More:
