Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year
Requirements: Previous experience in project management, project coordination or a relevant technical role.Experience within the Smart Home, Home Automation, Audio Visual or other relevant industries.A good understanding of engineering, electrical, electronic, IT or other technical systems such as Control4, Lutron, Rako and Sonos.Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.The ability to manage budgets, schedules and project documentation.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Confidence working independently and making decisions.Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.A strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities.A full UK driving licence.The flexibility to travel to customer sites as required.A relevant technical or project management qualification would be beneficial but is not essential. Responsibilities: Manage technical projects from initial handover through to completion.Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.Attend customer sites to oversee progress, installations and commissioning.Act as the principal point of contact for customers throughout each project.Review project specifications, drawings and technical documentation.Monitor project costs, timescales, risks and quality standards.Identify potential delays or issues and take appropriate corrective action.Work alongside the procurement team to acquire and deliver equipment and materials.Ensure work complies with company procedures, health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards.Conduct progress meetings and provide clear project updates.Maintain accurate project records and prepare handover documentation.Support the estimating, sales and engineering teams when required.Ensure projects are completed to the customers satisfaction.
