Requirements: Basic understanding of AV systems and components would be a distinct advantage, as would any knowledge of racking, cabling, HDMI, Ethernet, and USB.Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as needed, to support events and installations.A valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites as required. Responsibilities: Assist in the installation and racking of AV equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing devices.Handle cabling tasks, including running and terminating HDMI, Ethernet, and USB cables.Set up and configure AV connections for televisions, monitors, and other display devices.Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of AV systems, ensuring optimal performance and resolving technical issues.Support senior engineers with system testing, configuration, and quality assurance.Conduct site surveys to determine AV requirements and assist in the design of customised AV solutions.Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry trends to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
