About this role

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements: Strong Python development experience, ideally with exposure to libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Scikit-learn.Experience building data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data.Experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and Glue.A solid understanding of statistics and applied mathematics.The ability to understand, interpret, and extend complex algorithms and business logic.A strong grounding in software engineering principles, including testing, code quality, and design patterns.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.Experience working with time-series, geospatial, sensor, or other complex datasets.Exposure to machine learning or deploying ML models into production.Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.AWS certifications would be beneficial. Responsibilities: Design and develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and backend services using Python.Build and maintain APIs and microservices that deliver data products to internal and external users.Work with large and complex datasets.Implement and deploy machine learning models and statistical analysis into production environments.Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support data and application workloads.
