Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Science or Engineering degreeExpert-level C# and WPF experience with full WPF stack knowledge, including dispatcher, dependency properties, virtualization, and performance characteristics of data-bound UIs under high-frequency update conditionsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across different tasks and stakeholder groupsAbility to organize multiple competing tasks and priorities in a rapidly changing environmentDevelopment and technical leadership experience in complex UI application development, including multi-threaded implementation and low-latency messagingExperience with multi-threading, low-latency, high-performance components and applications, including GC tuningExperience with Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Agile methodologiesExperience with version control tools such as Git and transport technologies such as TCP/WebSocket, Refinitiv, and Tibco RendezvousExperience with debugging and troubleshooting on Linux and Windows using profiling toolsExperience working in Fixed Income eTrading technology, especially UI-layer products such as pricing grids, RFQ blotters, and ticketsExperience leading UI architecture evolution or modernization of a large legacy WPF code basePeople leadership experience, including line and functional management and giving feedback Responsibilities: Lead the technical direction and delivery of a high-performance, low-latency eTrading UI application across a globally distributed user base spanning multiple trading desks and regionsManage and mentor a UI development team, including local and offshore resourcesOwn the development stream end-to-end, including roadmap sequencing, sprint planning, and dependency management with server-side teamsArchitect and govern the UI layer, including components, design, threading model, dispatcher, patterns, and data binding to sustain low-latency, high-throughput data without performance degradationWork with technology partners and business groups regionally and globally to deliver high-quality UI products in a fast-paced environmentLiaise with end users to understand their requirementsWork with management and horizontal teams to advance the strategic UI roadmapChampion strong development practices, including pairing, code reviews, unit testing, and regression testing Technologies: ArchitectC#GitLinuxTIBCOUnixWPFWindowsUX UI DesignASP.NETWeb More:
