Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Information Security Specialist with ISO 27001 certification and a strong understanding of information security management frameworks.You should have proven experience supporting audit remediation and evidencing control improvements.You should understand joiners, movers and leavers security controls.You should have hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR or similar vulnerability management tooling.You should be able to manage remediation activity, influence stakeholders and work at pace.You should have excellent documentation, reporting and communication skills. Responsibilities: We support the delivery of ISO 27001 controls, governance and audit remediation plans.We address external audit findings relating to starters, leavers and joiners processes.We monitor, evidence and report on information security compliance activity for auditors.We provide training, guidance and awareness support across relevant teams.We use Qualys VMDR to support vulnerability management, detection, response and remediation tracking.We produce clear reports, dashboards and updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders. We are supporting an organisation in Birmingham with urgent information security, audit remediation and vulnerability management activity. This is a contract role on a 1 month rolling basis to provide interim cover.
