Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in automation and infrastructure, alongside a willingness to learn and develop.Experience with some of the following would be highly beneficial:Azure or another cloud platformBASH, Python or PowerShellInfrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Microsoft DSCGit, CI/CD and version controlLinux, Kubernetes and containerisationContainer registries, web services and DNSWindows Server and enterprise services such as Active Directory, ADFS, IIS or Certificate ServicesPublic Key Infrastructure and tools such as OpenSSLNetworking fundamentals including IP addressing, subnets, routing and firewallsApplicants are required to have active Security Clearance upon starting the role. Responsibilities: We will support the operation, development and implementation of automation across different hosting platforms.We will work with solution SMEs and maintenance teams on tasks requiring automation.We will support system integration and validation activities to ensure solutions meet functional, security and project requirements.We will contribute to technical documentation, including diagrams and operating procedures.We will keep up to date with emerging automation technologies and industry best practice. We are a growing engineering team based in Farnborough, working in a hybrid model on an expanding project.
