About this role

Salary: £35,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements: Experience supporting and developing SIEM platforms in a Security Operations Centre across a multi-tenant environmentPractical experience creating, testing, implementing, and supporting custom tooling for Security OperationsProven line management experience leading security engineers and analystsAbility to work independently and produce high-quality work without close supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical subjectsAbility to coordinate, track, and report project milestones, risks, and blockers to senior managementBroad cyber security awareness and practical experienceEligible for NPPV3 and SC clearances; NPPV3 clearance must be approved before startRelevant cloud certification or equivalent experiencePrevious public sector experienceExperience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Sentinel, or other SIEM platformsExperience working with code repositories and CI/CD Responsibilities: Lead a team in creating, configuring, and maintaining technology platforms and tooling that support security operations within the National Management CentreContribute to technical designs and documentation for new and existing solutionsAct as a point of escalation and subject matter expert for other team membersSupport forces with the configuration of Sentinel and log sourcesCoordinate the testing, implementation, and configuration of new data sourcesContribute to the management of SIEM content, including detectionsProvide line management for NMC Cyber Security EngineersWork with wider NMC teams to support continual service improvement and innovationHelp protect front-line policing from cyber-attacksSupport the delivery of threat detection and response capabilities across the technology estate Technologies: AzureCloudDevOpsSupportMicrosoft Power PlatformSecurityCI/CDREST More:
