Data Architect
Job description: The Data Architect’s role is to strategically design and implement large scale data migrations/ conversions into Fiserv’s products using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 through the current version. Additionally, the Data Architect will be called upon to design and implement highly custom large scale database solutions that augment Fiserv’s products. On occasion, the Senior Database Architect will be asked to evaluate, size and select technology components, such as software, hardware, and data storage systems, for database management systems and application databases across the organization. Focusing more broadly on projects that impact multiple areas of Fiserv’s products, the Senior Database Architect will work and communicate directly with internal and external clients using both analytical skills and subject matter expertise in financial applications to gather requirements, design solutions and execute implementations. The Data Architect will function as an escalation point for go live events, troubleshooting, and resolution designs. The Data Architect will directly participate in hiring process for new associate candidates and may be called on to manage project staffing allocations and work hour approvals. This role requires serving as a critical key player in the influence and development of reusable department-wise tools. You will be required to respond to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in the event of an emergency client incident or critical business need.
