Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking a former U.S. Navy Missile Technician or Strategic Navigation Electronics Technician to serve as a senior technical authority supporting the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). This role supports the System Level Fleet Documentation Program and directly contributes to the development, sustainment, and modernization of SWS/AWS documentation supporting national strategic deterrence.
This postition provides system-Level leadership and drives documentation strategy. The candidate operates with high autonomy, leads cross-functional efforts, and mentors personnel while ensuring documentation accuracy across complex SWS/AWS subsystem for Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs).
Required Skills and Education: Education and years of professional related/relevent work experience required: High School Diploma with at least 12-15 years of related professional work experience supporting SWS/AWS systems.
Additional skills/experience required: • Former U.S. Navy Missile Technician or Strategic Navigation Electronics Technician with operational SWS/AWS experience • Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems and determine solutions • Proficient in reviewing schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions • Knowledge and application of SWS/AWS Fault Isolation concepts • Experience isolating electrical faults using Electronic One Function • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SSPETD, and TFR • Excellent writing, grammer, punctuation, and communication skills • Strong technical writing capabilites and experience delivering authoritative program-level presentations

Preferred Skills and Education: • Experience evaluating SPALTs, UKALTs, NAVSEA TRIDs for documentation impacts • Experience with Livelink workflows, configuration management, and Quality Assurance (QA) • Model-based Systems Engineering knowledge or experience • Experience using Vulcan to create paper and electronic documents • Experience converting paper manuals into Technical Information Database (TIDB) format via Vulcan • Demonstrated experience influencing documentation strategies and driving improvements across multi-disciplinary Strategic Systems Program teams
