About this role
Have GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics, previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour.Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or anywhere on the school site.
