• Perform final verification of prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with all applicable regulations. • Review prescriber orders and identify potential therapeutic issues, such as drug interactions, contraindications, or dosing concerns. • Provide oversight and verification of pharmacy technician work to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy. • Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, policies, and professional standards. • Offer drug information and clinical guidance to patients and healthcare professionals as needed. • Provide patient counseling on proper medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies. • Support Pharmacy Benefits Management activities and prior authorization processes as needed. • Participate in compounding activities in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements, where applicable. • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and patient safety within the pharmacy. Essential Skills
• Active Utah pharmacist license in good standing. • 0–2 years of pharmacist experience; new graduates are welcome. • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent degree in Pharmacy. Work EnvironmentThis is an onsite role based in West Valley City, Utah, in a dedicated pharmacy facility. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., with no weekend shifts, supporting a consistent work-life balance. You will work in a professional pharmacy environment focused on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety, using typical pharmacy systems and tools to support prescription verification, technician oversight, and clinical decision-making. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
