The University of Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to support delivery of the Amy-SUSPECT project – ATTR Amyloidosis: Study of Utilizing Streamlined Referral Pathways with Education, Cardiac AI Echocardiography, and Point-of-care Testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact multi-centre study, funded by AstraZeneca, aiming to improve the timely diagnosis and management of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CA) through a streamlined referral pathway, education, and use of AI-assisted echocardiography. The postholder will be embedded within the department of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine and will benefit from strong mentorship and supervision in a world-class cardiovascular research environment.

This post is fixed term until 30 November 2027.
