Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future The Sr. Advisor II, Commercial Execution supports the Sr. Manager, Commercial Execution in providing disciplined oversight of progress against the Commercial organization’s long-term growth goals and associated value objectives. In close partnership with key internal stakeholder groups, this role helps drive alignment on strategic priorities, resource needs, and execution against the highest-value Commercial initiatives that support long-term aspirations. This position is intended to strengthen Commercial by improving coordination on key initiatives, reinforcing execution discipline, and identifying opportunities to improve resource effectiveness across the organization. While this role is not directly accountable for the success of individual Commercial initiatives, it is accountable for monitoring progress, surfacing gaps and risks, identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitating follow-through to help the organization achieve its long-term objectives. The role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Execution and works closely with Commercial leadership, partner organizations, and corporate stakeholders to support execution of the Sr. Manager role’s objectives and priorities. What You’ll Do Support assessment of progress against long-term value initiatives and help align priorities, trade-offs, and actions across stakeholders. Monitor performance against Commercial long-term value goals and prepare clear, fact-based reporting on results, progress, and emerging risks. Help ensure resources are directed toward the highest-value Commercial initiatives by tracking commitments, dependencies, and execution milestones. Identify performance gaps, execution issues, resource misalignments, and process weaknesses that may hinder delivery against expected outcomes. Coordinate follow-through on long-term value initiatives by reinforcing execution discipline, clarifying owners and due dates, and escalating issues as appropriate. Support adoption of process, data, and technology-enabled improvements that strengthen Commercial execution and resource effectiveness. Develop analyses, dashboards, and reporting materials that give leadership timely and reliable visibility into plans, progress, and value delivery. Work across Commercial, Finance, Risk, Trade Support, and other stakeholder groups to gather information, align actions, and support delivery against agreed priorities. Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential workstreams with sound judgment, discretion, organization, and follow-through. What You’ll Bring - Required Legally authorized to work in the United States Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Operations, or a related field 5 or more years of experience in Commercial, business planning, transformation, operations, analytics, trading support, or related roles Experience working across front-office or trading organizations Familiarity with Commercial long-term performance drivers, resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, and front-office decision-making Advanced or greater proficiency in performance reporting, data analysis, and business tools such as Excel and Power BI What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred MBA or other relevant advanced degree Demonstrated ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders, build alignment, and drive disciplined follow-through in a complex business environment Experience supporting transformation, process improvement, or technology-enabled change initiatives within Supply and Trading, Commercial, or a similarly complex business environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced Commercial environment and translate analysis into clear actions for leadership Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with a track record of managing multiple priorities, driving improvement, and maintaining disciplined follow-through Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential business information with sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $160,200 – $195,800. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
