About this role
Key Accountabilities Scope : Conduct rock samples laboratory analyses to support subsurface research and study projects. Prepare and process subsurface rock samples according to standard operating procedures. Operate advanced geomechanics and SCAL laboratory equipment to perform rock mechanics and special core analysis testing in accordance with SOPs and industry standards. Analyse and validate geomechanical and SCAL data to evaluate rock properties, rock-fluid interactions and reservoir characteristics. Adhere to ISO9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards, and Company’s SSHE policies. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, perform equipment housekeeping, and manage inventory of supplies. Prepare clear and comprehensive laboratory test reports and results. Assist and support other laboratory team members as assigned by the Laboratory Manager. Professional Knowledge & Experiences A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geology, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or related field; A minimum 5 years of experience working in a laboratory. English proficiency with TOEIC 550 or above
