About this role
Responsibilities: Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS policies, procedures, and standards in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks. Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the compilation of reports to prevent reoccurrence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to promote safety culture and environmental awareness throughout the facility. Coordinate and participate in safety training programmes, drills, and awareness campaigns to ensure employee competence and engagement. Maintain records of EHS activities, audits, and compliance documentation, supporting management reviews and certifications. Keep abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to environment, health, and safety, advising the organisation accordingly. Contribute to sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements: Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline. Prior experience in environment, health, and safety roles, preferably within the marine, manufacturing, or heavy engineering sectors. Strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards applicable in Singapore and internationally. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging employees across multiple levels. Ability to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to learn and adapt digitalisation and AI initiatives. Other Information Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided) 5 days work week Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
