About this role

Job Description The warehouse worker helps to support warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, order picking, shipping, and product movement. In this hands-on warehouse associate role, you will receive and inspect incoming products, organize stock, prepare orders for transport, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. This position is a strong fit for candidates with warehouse, distribution, material handling, stockroom, forklift, pallet jack, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience. Compensation for this position is $16 per hour. Job Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process incoming warehouse products; accurately label items and report delivery, invoice, or inventory discrepancies. Organize, stock, rotate, and store products in assigned warehouse locations, including use of FIFO inventory controls for perishable products. Operate or train to operate warehouse equipment such as a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift, carts, or other powered industrial vehicles as required by location. Pick, pack, stage, and prepare inventory, supplies, equipment, and product orders for requisitions, delivery, transport, or established par levels. Follow standard operating procedures, safety standards, and productivity expectations to support accurate and efficient warehouse operations. Load, unload, move, and transport products and materials throughout the warehouse or to other client locations using carts, pallet jacks, powered equipment, or motor vehicles when required. Conduct routine physical inventory counts and support inventory accuracy based on established location schedules and business needs. Complete warehouse documentation and records, including inventory count sheets, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and other business records using paper, handheld device, or computer systems. Maintain clean and organized warehouse work areas, including assigned storage areas, loading docks, freight elevators, delivery areas, restrooms, and break areas when applicable. Follow all location safety procedures, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment expectations. Protect company and client assets by following security, storage, and product handling procedures. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is preferred. Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory, stockroom, forklift, pallet jack, or material handling experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, vendors, and clients. Basic reading, writing, counting, and arithmetic skills required for inventory records, labels, logs, and order documentation. Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices, scanners, or warehouse systems as required by location. Manual dexterity and ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, tools, machinery, or powered industrial vehicles when required. Ability to lift up to 50 lb and frequently lift, carry, push, pull, bend, stand, and walk during the shift. Some client locations require a current valid driver’s license. If required, a motor vehicle record check will be completed as part of the pre-employment screening process. This warehouse role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. The position may also require uniforms and/or use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
