Job Description Aramark is hiring a Maintenance Worker to support the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings and facility grounds at our [City, State] location. In this role, you'll perform routine building maintenance, complete preventative maintenance inspections, and repair common items such as doors, windows, fixtures, office equipment, and minor appliances. This is a hands-on facilities position that requires working safely, following maintenance schedules, and responding to repair needs to keep the site operating smoothly. Candidates with experience as a maintenance technician, building maintenance worker, facilities technician, groundskeeper, custodian, or handyman are encouraged to apply. We are seeking dependable team members who take pride in their work and can consistently support a safe, clean, and functional environment Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, fixtures, equipment, doors, windows, and hardware. Conduct scheduled inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance or repair needs. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance checklists. Troubleshoot and repair minor facility issues to maintain safe and functional operations. Report major repair needs and recommend corrective actions to leadership. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Support overall building appearance, cleanliness, and operational readiness. Follow all Aramark safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Work in indoor and outdoor facility environments as needed.Interact professionally with customers, clients, coworkers, and site personnel. Qualifications Required Ability to perform routine building and facilities maintenance tasks safely. Knowledge of basic maintenance practices, tools, and equipment. Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends when required. Willingness to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE). Preferred 1+ year of maintenance, facilities, custodial, grounds, building operations, or related experience. Experience performing basic repairs on building fixtures, equipment, or facilities. Experience in commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, or institutional facilities. Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and inspection checklists This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
