Job Description Role Overview Deliver evidence-informed aquatic physiotherapy services predominantly for patients with neurological, neuromuscular, pediatric neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders geriatric, and sports rehabilitation. Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered aquatic rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and clinical evaluations. Develop and implement individualized aquatic therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the Head of the department. Ensure patient safety and adherence to aquatic therapy protocols. Prepare therapy equipment and pool environment Track patient progress and prepare reports Monitor patient progress and modify interventions based on clinical outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Mentor and supervise junior therapists, interns, and support staff. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs. Maintain pool safety, infection control, and equipment standards. Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Support departmental operations, scheduling, and resource utilization. Participate in continuing professional development and staff training. Promote evidence-based practice and innovation in aquatic rehabilitation. Contribute to achieving departmental quality, patient satisfaction, and service excellence goals. Work Experience Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy Certification in aquatic therapy - mandatory Basic understanding of aquatic therapy techniques (preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience Strong interest in pediatric and adult rehabilitation therapy Comfort working in water-based therapy settings for long hours Education Competencies Strategic Agility Customer Centricity Process Excellence Result Orientation Stakeholder Management Collaboration Developing Talent Innovation & Creativity
