Personal profile Organisation Our client is an internationally operating nuclear service provider. They produce isotopes, carry out nuclear technological research, are a consultant in the field of safety and reliability of nuclear installations and a service provider in radiation protection. Research is carried out for governments to develop knowledge about nuclear technology. What are you going to do? We are seeking a highly experienced Cost Control Engineer to join the Owner's project controls team for the detailed design phase of a nuclear isotope reactor project. The successful candidate will act as the Owner's single point of contact (SPOC) for timesheet review and validation, and will lead cost control, LOE (Level of Effort) management and contract compliance activities under a complex multi-party EPCM contractual framework. This is a critical governance role requiring deep expertise in earned value management, reimbursable contract administration, and nuclear or major infrastructure project environments. Key Responsibilities Timesheet Review & LOE Validation - Serve as the Owner's Timesheet SPOC, managing the full weekly timesheet review and validation cycle in accordance with Contract provisions and the adopted Timesheet Guideline. - Apply objective validation criteria to determine Disallowed Hours in weekly submissions from Overall Responsible Designer and its subcontractors at all tiers, including assessment against sanctioned Organisation Charts, Deliverable Lists, Activity - Lists, Resource-Loaded Planning and Overtime Authorisations. - Coordinate with Work Package Owners to conduct joint reviews of timesheet submissions within defined contractual timeframes. - Issue formal observations, manag...
