About this role

Summary of Position:

Mechanics are required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs that they are assigned. This can include anything from routine maintenance work to specialized repairs. There will be needs outside of the Fleet Maintenance role in the Materials Management / Yard area that will be more roustabout in nature and needed from time to time.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle issues, including investigating malfunction and diagnostic codes using vehicle diagnostic systems, specialized tools, and mechanical expertise. • Performing preventative and routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid checks and changes, oil changes, brake inspections and replacements, and other required services. • Mounting and dismounting tires and repairing flat tires as needed. • Using WaterBridge’s ACE CMMS system to accurately document maintenance activities, update work orders, and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe mechanic bay, including proper care and maintenance of tools and shop equipment. • Prioritizing and completing work according to direction and priorities established by the Fleet Supervisor. • Supporting Materials Management/Yard operations and performing general roustabout duties when required. • Following all applicable company safety procedures, environmental requirements, regulatory standards, and policies. • Maintaining a professional and safety-focused approach while working in field and shop environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. • Valid driver’s license required. • 1–2 years of experience as a mechanic preferred. • Basic computer and mobile-device skills, with the ability to create, update, and close work orders using a mobile device. • Knowledge and demonstrated ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventative services. • Experience inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical faults, diagnosing problems, and performing necessary repairs. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to safely operate, maintain, and work around fleet vehicles and other equipment. • Ability and willingness to perform general yard, materials handling, and roustabout duties as operational needs require. • Residence in Carlsbad, NM, or within approximately 60 miles of Carlsbad is preferred. • Company-paid housing may be provided during scheduled working shifts, if eligible.

Working Conditions/Environment:

• Operates in a field environment. • May be subject to environments that are extreme in nature, such as heat, cold, etc. • The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: • Standing, walking, or sitting for prolonged periods. • Walking on uneven and vegetated terrain. • Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and must be able to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• This is a full-time position. • Schedule Offered: • 10/4 (10 days on 4 days off)

• Day shifts • 10-hour shifts
