Engineer / Senior Engineer - Reel & Winder
We are looking for an Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our team in Pune, India. In this role, you will contribute to engineering activities for paper and board machine environments, with a focus on plant engineering, 3D modelling, drawings, and bill of material creation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subcontracted engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support project execution, procurement, manufacturing, and installation.
Main responsibilities:
• Efficiently prepare layout, schematic and detailed drawing • Ensure designs are based on the established standards and specifications • Maintain existing engineering record and designs • Create and maintain bill of materials. • Technical product support to the internal and external customers • Project engineering and product improvements • Participation to the technology team’s work • Product Safety • Support to procurement activities • Participation to the delivery projects and customer audits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical field. • Good technical knowledge in mechanical engineering. • Hands-on experience with Catia V6 and AutoCAD 2D design tools. • Previous experience in Reel & Winder engineering of Board/Paper machines is preferred. • Ability to read and interpret fluid system diagrams and technical documentation. • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. • Willingness to travel, within India & globally
