Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Core Java Engineer with recent, hands-on experience developing low- or ultra-low-latency electronic trading systems . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of actual trading workflows and experience building performance-sensitive backend systems. Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2 days onsite required) Type: Long-term Contract Preferred Background Candidates with experience in the following areas are highly preferred: Matching engines Order books Market data processing Exchange connectivity Order routing Trading gateways Other performance-sensitive backend trading systems Experience within trading firms, banks, or exchanges
