About the team: The Smart Grid Technology Lab focuses on research in real-time simulation technologies, microgrid energy management, control systems, and other smart grid technologies. We apply cutting-edge technologies to the digital power industry. The lab has developed into a research organization with significant achievements and a strong impact in the industry. About the job: Work under a supervisor with a team of experts to develop a set of power system and control component models for power system EMT simulation. Implement the models in C++ as objects. Ensure the long-term numerical stability of the models. Optimize the models for execution speed. Benchmark the models with widely used simulation tools. Develop documents for the algorithms of the models. Develop user manuals for component models. Build and document demo cases for the models.
