About this role
Your mission You will join Kreios Space’s Finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager to keep the company’s day-to-day financial and accounting operations running smoothly. You will support payments, accounting records, reconciliations and reporting, while helping maintain accurate and well-organised financial information as the company grows.<br>You will also support the financial management of publicly funded R&D projects, including the tracking and justification of project costs and the preparation of supporting documentation.<br><ul><li><strong>Own day-to-day finance operations</strong>: Support invoice management, expenses, payments, bank reconciliations and accounting documentation.</li><li><strong>Support closing and reporting</strong>:Work with the Finance Manager on reconciliations, cash monitoring, month-end activities and preparation of financial information.</li><li><strong>Support public funding and R&D projects</strong>:Track eligible costs, personnel expenses, invoices and supporting documentation for project reporting and audits.</li><li><strong>Keep financial information accurate</strong>: Ensure records and supporting documents are complete, traceable and properly maintained.</li><li><strong>Work across the company</strong>: Coordinate with People, Procurement, Operations and technical teams to collect information and resolve discrepancies.</li><li><strong>Improve how Finance works</strong>: Help implement and improve financial processes, controls and tools as Kreios scales.-</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Degree or vocational qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.</li><li>Around 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial administration.</li><li>Good understanding of basic accounting principles and day-to-day financial processes.</li><li>Experience with invoices, payments, bank reconciliations, expenses and accounting documentation.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.</li><li>Good organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive, resourceful mindset.</li><li>Comfortable working in both Spanish and English.</li><li>Able to identify issues, ask the right questions and follow tasks through to resolution in a fast-moving environment.</li></ul><strong>Nice to have</strong><br><ul><li>Previous experience in a startup, technology or engineering company.</li><li>Exposure to public funding, grants or R&D project financial justification.</li><li>Experience supporting month-end closing or management reporting.</li><li>Experience with ERP or accounting software and familiarity with Spanish accounting and tax processes.</li><li>Interest in developing a broader career in Finance within a growing international company.</li></ul><em>We are looking for someone curious, reliable and sharp: someone who understands what they are doing, spots inconsistencies and is ready to take on more responsibility as the Finance function grow.</em> Why us? <strong>Be part of a fast-growing NewSpace company</strong> where your work will directly support the financial operations behind cutting-edge aerospace innovation.
