Your mission <p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior VTEX Engineer</strong> with extensive experience designing, implementing, and migrating enterprise e-commerce solutions. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in the VTEX ecosystem, advanced React knowledge, and proven experience working directly with clients and teams based in the United States.</p><p>The ideal candidate combines solid technical depth with autonomy, strong communication skills, and the ability to participate in complex implementations and migrations from discovery through production.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions using <strong>VTEX</strong>.</li><li>Lead or actively participate in end-to-end <strong>VTEX implementations and migrations</strong>.</li><li>Develop and customize storefront experiences using <strong>React</strong> and the VTEX ecosystem.</li><li>Analyze existing e-commerce platforms and define migration strategies, technical approaches, risks, and dependencies.</li><li>Integrate VTEX with third-party services, APIs, payment providers, ERP, CRM, and other business systems.</li><li>Collaborate directly with US-based clients, product teams, designers, and other engineers.</li><li>Translate business and functional requirements into reliable technical solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify sustainable solutions.</li><li>Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, estimations, and implementation planning.</li><li>Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, code reviews, testing, documentation, and performance optimization.</li><li>Support and mentor other engineers when needed.</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li><strong>8+ years of professional software development experience.</strong></li><li><strong>5+ years of hands-on experience working with VTEX.</strong></li><li>Proven experience delivering complete <strong>VTEX implementations and migration projects</strong> in production environments.</li><li>Strong proficiency in <strong>React</strong> and modern front-end development.</li><li>Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, integrations, and e-commerce architecture.</li><li>Experience collaborating directly with <strong>US-based clients or teams</strong>.</li><li>Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to participate confidently in technical and client-facing conversations.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and make sound technical decisions.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li></ul> Why us?
