An exciting opportunity is now available to join our Orthopaedic Theatre team at Mid and South Essex. We are looking for individuals with or without experience in healthcare, keen to join the NHS family helping people from your local community.
You will be trained to provide skilled technical support with instrumentation and equipment needs for elective orthopaedic and trauma theatres.

Main duties of the job
As an Orthopaedic Theatre Technician, youwill be a hugely valuable support to our Nursing and Midwifery teams providing care to our patients. Every day will be different and you will work alongside the rest of the team carrying out a wide range of tasks and assisting with care to support the needs of the patients and their families.
Examples of what you may do as part of your role
Participate as team member, liaising various members of the multidisciplinary team Supporting the senior technician within role Monitoring and ordering consignment and purchased orthopaedic stock liaise with company representatives attending theatres
