About this role

Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and influential People & Organisational Development (OD) Business Partner to join the senior leadership team supporting our Group Corporate Services portfolios.

Working closely with Corporate Directors and senior leaders, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, support and constructive challenge across a broad range of people and workforce matters.

A successful candidate will be an experienced senior HR/People professional, ideally with a Master's degree and/or Chartered MCIPD status, who has experience partnering with executive or senior leadership teams in a large, complex and unionised organisation. They will have a strong track record in workforce transformation, organisational development, complex employee relations and strategic workforce planning, alongside exceptional influencing, analytical and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be a credible and collaborative people professional, capable of building strong relationships and influencing senior stakeholders across diverse corporate functions. You will champion an inclusive, high-performing culture, supporting leaders to develop engaged teams, enhance wellbeing and drive performance.

Masters Degree or equivalent level of experience Chartered MCIPD or equivalent experience

Experience of acting as a Business Partner to a Senior Leadership team, leading on supporting with workforce development and transformation Experience within a large, unionised and complex environment. Experience of contributing to senior meetings providing authoritative advice and timely, accurate interpretation of workforce information Experience in managing large scale changes to workforce Experience in analysing management information to identify trends Experience of managing complex HR casework
