We seek a Practice Nurse to join our team and be part of a practice that makes a difference, supported by and working with a diverse, multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical staff, providing high-quality, person-centred, holistic nursing care to patients

Job description Job responsibilities
The Practice Nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as helping with infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, health promotion, well women and well man clinics, as well as actively supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure. The successful candidate will be able to:
Obtain blood samples Electrocardiograms(ECGs) Minor and complex wound management including leg ulcers Travel health advice and vaccinations Child immunisations and advice Family planning & women's health including cervical smears Men's health screening Sexual health services Screening and helping patients to manage long-term conditions Cervical screening

Qualifications Essential
NMC registration is essential. Primary Care experience.
