Do you have demonstratable project & business management experience?

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Business & Administration Manager to join our Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Services.

This is a key operational role responsible for leading and supporting administrative teams across services, ensuring high-quality, consistent and resilient administrative support that enables safe and effective patient care.

Working closely with Service Managers, Team Managers and Clinical Leads, you will support service improvement, performance management and business functions across adult and older adult pathways contributing to the ongoing development and efficiency of services.

You will need to have strong organisational, analytical and leadership skills and be a confident communicator.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in administration, business support or performance management, ideally within the NHS or public sector, who is passionate about improving services and supporting teams to deliver high standards of care.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will:

Provide line management, supervision and support to administrative staff across Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Services Ensure effective and consistent administrative processes are in place and aligned to Trust policies Support the delivery of service improvement and transformation initiatives across pathways Collect, analyse and present performance and operational data to support service delivery and decision-making Ensure accurate recording of activity and support teams to maintain high data quality standards Coordinate and support business and operational functions, including meetings, reporting and governance processes Work collaboratively with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure administrative systems support patient pathways Support workforce processes including recruitment, induction, training compliance and rota coordination

Qualifications Essential

Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification

Desirable

Project management qualification or extensive project experience

Knowledge Essential

Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of operational business issues with the public sector Knowledge and understanding of programme and project management structures Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications

Job related Aptitude and Skills Essential

Experience working under pressure with tight deadlines, excellent organisational and time management skills Confident communication skills both within service and to partners Able to work autonomously Experience of handling confidential and sensitive issues appropriately

Experience Essential

Experience of taking and transcribing formal minutes Evidence of managing small/medium sized projects

Desirable

Experience at managerial level within NHS or large public sector organisation

Additional Essential

Ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust
