As a Bank Sonographer, you will be responsible for the independent operation of ultrasound equipment, performing and assessing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, and ensuring a safe and positive patient experience. Responsibilities: Performing a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently. Managing daily ultrasound lists and patient schedules. Using clinical expertise and sound judgement to identify normal and pathological findings. Analysing ultrasound images and communicating findings to reporting radiologists. Ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of patients throughout their examination. Maintaining accurate records and updating Radiology Information Systems (RIS). Monitoring equipment performance, reporting faults, and supporting quality assurance processes. Maintaining high professional standards and staying up to date with advances in ultrasound practice.
