Job Title: PSYCHOLOGIST / MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Reporting to the Director, through the Clinical Manager the Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for the following duties.

Primary Duties

Clinical Services: Delivery of evidenced based psychological and mental health intervention services, including but not limited to the following services under the supervision of Clinical Manager.

• Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based therapeutic service to children/youth and/or youth/adults who present with an array of psychological and mental health problems.

• Conduct Clinical Intake sessions with new clients, formulate case summary and treatment plan through the use of sound clinical knowledge, use of standard measures, and clinical supervision.

• Evaluate treatment interventions, seek consultation and revise according to the client's needs

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care consultation with allied healthcare providers

• Maintain an active caseload, with 25+ client facing hours per week.

• Present clinical cases at Clinical Team meetings for the purpose of peer supervision, training and case consultation

Community Education & Training Tasks:

• Assist with preparation, planning and delivery of public awareness activities, including sponsored healthcare events, community events and corporate wellness activities.

• Develop and deliver wellness presentations on topics of interest and expertise to community and corporate clients.

• Contribute to the development and participation in social media content to enhance service awareness and public health education related to the mission, vision, values and standards.

Other Company Responsibilities: Any other clinical duties assigned by Clinical Manager/Director, including but not limited to the following:

• Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality at all times

• Maintain documentation in a timely manner using our EHR platform.

• Perform additional tasks as designated by the Clinical Manager or Director.

• Uphold the company’s mission, vision, values, standards, and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

Doctorate in Psychology, with 1+ years post licensure experience

Masters in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counselling or related mental health therapy field, with 3+ years post licensure experience

Eligibility for registration with the Cayman Islands Health Regulatory Council (CPAM)

Strong foundation in trauma-informed care

Experience working with diverse cultural populations

Excellent written and communication skills

Evidence of training and certification in standard evidence-based mental health interventions (CBT, ERP, DBT, EMDR, ACT, SPACE)

Clean police clearance

Dependent on qualifications and experience
