About the Role
Omni Group Ghana is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Officer – Generalist to join its Human Resources team.
The successful candidate will provide broad HR generalist support across the employee lifecycle, with particular responsibility for Learning & Development (L&D) and Performance Management. The role will contribute to strengthening HR practices, employee capability, performance and overall people management across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive HR generalist support across the employee lifecycle.
• Coordinate and implement Learning & Development programmes, including training needs analysis, programme coordination and training evaluations.
• Support the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Support talent development, succession planning and employee career development initiatives.
• Provide HR advisory support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employee relations matters.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and other HR operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and people analytics to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company HR policies, procedures and applicable employment legislation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of HR policies, processes and systems.
• Support other HR initiatives and projects as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist HR role.
• Strong practical experience in Learning & Development and Performance Management.
• Good knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment practices.
• Strong HR reporting, analytical and communication skills.
• Good understanding of employee relations and HR operations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees and managers at different levels.
• Professional HR certification or evidence of ongoing professional development in HR will be an added advantage.
