Position Summary: The Compliance Specialist's responsibility is to review and validate that medical professionals in the pre-hire stage have current credentials and licenses to work in their field or specialty. Compliance Specialists work independently, manage their workloads effectively, and meet deadlines. Location: Omaha, NE 68164 (or Louisville, KY 40299) Job Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Validate credentialing documents and licenses prior to the start of employment.

• Oversee employee files to verify completeness and accuracy.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accrediting institutions.

• Communicate clearly and timely with Recruiters, Recruitment Managers, and other internal customers, to update them on credentialing challenges and concerns in the pre-employment process.

• Communicate clearly and timely with candidates, regulatory institutions, and other external customers to fulfill requirements prior to the start date.

Qualifications:

• Experience performing similar duties within a medical organization.

• Customer service experience required.

• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple desks throughout the day.

• Willingness to learn with an open mind.

• Track record of career success and/or longevity in other roles.

• Positive, persistent attitude.

• Staffing industry experience and knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to gather and analyze data, make improvement adjustments, and prepare reports.

• Ability to use independent judgment in decision making.

• Ability to manage and impart confidential information appropriately.

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation
