The position and your daily adventures
This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week.
What you can expect:
• Gain hands-on exposure to how risk management works inside a fast-growing financial institution preparing to operate as a bank.
• Work on topics related to credit risk, liquidity, provisions, regulatory metrics, portfolio behavior, internal controls, and governance.
• Learn how different areas of the company make decisions, manage risks, and operate key business processes.
• Support recurring risk monitoring activities and help turn data, findings, and business context into clear analysis.
• Use tools such as SQL, Metabase, VSCode, Excel / Google Sheets to extract, organize, validate, and analyze information.
• Learn how to use AI tools responsibly to support analysis, documentation, and day-to-day productivity.
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a
• similar analytical field.
• 0–2 years of experience in risk, finance, data analysis, consulting, or a related area.
• Interest in financial products, risk management, regulation, and how business processes work in practice.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with numbers and business information in a structured way.
• Ability to organize unclear or incomplete information and turn it into clear documentation, summaries, trackers, or analyses.
• Good written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• High attention to detail and comfort following up with different teams to gather information and close open items.
• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic SQL, Python or Metabase knowledge is a plus, but willingness to learn is enough.
• Interest in using AI tools responsibly to support analysis, documentation, and day-to-day work.
• Curiosity, ownership, and good judgment when working with new topics.
• Advanced English level.
