Perioperative Practitioner / PACU
TŪRANGA THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Perioperative Practitioner with a specialty in Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU)/Recovery to join our dedicated team.
Success in this role requires a strong team player who communicates effectively, works collaboratively, and enjoys supporting the fundamental functions and needs of a busy PACU environment.
These are the role details;
• Monday to Friday roster
• Shift lengths generally range from 8 to 10 hours beginning at 7:45 am through to 9pm
• Permanent position, 0.8 FTE

You are someone who:
• Takes pride in providing compassionate and reassuring care to patients.
• Builds strong, positive relationships with whānau and colleagues.
• Encourages an environment of collaboration, support and professional growth.
• Appreciates some flexibility in your roster (0.8 fte)
We welcome applications from NZ Registered Nurses, and suitably qualified perioperative practitioners, with at least two years of recent PACU experience. Including internationally experienced recovery practitioners and Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) who are eligible to work in New Zealand healthcare settings.
