About this role
Qualified applicants must have a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
Forklift and warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
Seeking individuals who have the following skills and/or knowledge:
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
• Exhibit excellent customer service.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Complete basic level of paperwork and documentation.
Summary of Duties:
• Maintains fiber warehouse, including testing routers and ONT's. Keeps track of inventory and stock.
• Prepares material tickets on items used on Construction Work Orders.
• Return to stock, retired and unused materials remaining from completed construction work orders and prepares or adjusts material tickets accordingly.
• Issues assembled supplies to Construction crews daily.
• Issue materials as necessary to stock district warehouses.
• Delivers materials to crews when required.
• Checks and brings into stock incoming materials.
• Prepares receiving slips on incoming freight.
• Assists with operating tractor and fork lift while loading and unloading materials.
• Advises and counsels with members concerning purchases of electrical supplies.
• Responsible for the safe, correct use and preservation of all tools, vehicles and special equipment assigned.
• Assist with taking care of the Coop yard, including mowing, weed-eating, spraying and brush hogging.
• Break down retired meter loops.
• Assists in keeping wash bay, truck bays, underground building and barn clean.
