Dealing with suppliersRelaying relevant information to both Customer Service and Transport Teams via email and phoneOptimise routing to ensure the most profitable solution for container movementsCommunicating with Ports and TerminalsEnsuring correct revenue and costs for movements completedAdhere to cut-off times; both internal and external Liaise with the Team to ensure most efficient planning We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
Previous experience as a Transport Planner – ideal but not essentialConfident and clear communicator – written and verbalGood UK geographical knowledgeCan work on own initiative but also as part of a teamQuick and efficient problem solving skillsOrganised at all timesFlexibility to meet the demands of the business
