Job Description: BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Lead for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System program. This position will require the candidate to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug and test precision guided munitions. Individual technical contributions on a related range of programs will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment. In this Role you will: • Lead a medium size team of Systems Engineers on an APKWS development program • Manage all system engineering content and work products • Implement the product development process

• Manage Cost and Schedule responsibilities for the systems team • Execute systems planning and requirements development • Create and review systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem and operational concepts • Allocate requirements to other engineering disciplines • Create system test plans, procedures and reports • Provide oversight to product design, development, integration, and verification • Develop and maintain external relationships with customers, other contractors and government officials • Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings • Prepare and deliver technical presentations both internally and externally with customers • Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures • Support proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities

Required Skills and Education: • BS degree in a STEM field in addition to 8+ Years of relevant industry or equivalent • Possess an Active US Government security clearance (secret or higher) • Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs • Experience in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations. • Understanding and background in defense systems architecture, modeling, design and test • Experience in MATLAB

Preferred Skills and Education: • EVMS certification and CAM experience • Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test) • Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines • Support trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities • Experience in planning and conducting test events at US Government Test Facilities • Model Based Systems Engineering experience
