Job Description: The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers’ missions. What You’ll Do: • Serve as a Core Product Team (CPT) member supporting the implementation phase and production rollout of a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. • Ensure Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) requirements are aligned with EIA-649, are properly defined in JIRA user stories, implemented by technical teams, and verified for compliance. • Validate data migration activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity during system implementation. • Support future PLM tool upgrades, enhancements, and post-production sustainment activities, if needed. • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, providing updates on sprint progress, risks, and impediments/blockers. • Assist with training, troubleshooting, end-user support, and Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives to facilitate successful user adoption. • Support continuous process improvements to enhance configuration management processes and PLM system effectiveness. • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. • Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Skills and Education: • BS/BA in related field plus 8 or more years related experience. • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. • A current, active Secret security clearance is required. • Experience supporting PLM implementations using ARAS Innovator or similar type PLM tools (e.g., Windchill). • Solid knowledge of Configuration Management and Data Management principles in accordance with EIA-649. • Experience translating business and CM requirements into JIRA user stories and validating implementation. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Experience with data migration validation, data quality, and system testing. • Ability to provide user training, troubleshoot system issues, and support organizational change initiatives. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional engineering, technical, and business teams. #LI-NP1
