Job Description: BAE Systems Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting our Customer's Combat Integration and Identification Systems Division.
Position responsibilities include: - Manage the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and operations associated with production and qualification testing of Interrogator Set AN/UPX-24(V) for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). - Coordinate with the NAWCAD TW12100 government project lead on budgeting, scheduling, and execution activities. - Assure compliance with BAE and NAWCAD customer's Quality Control Processes. - Identify and track potential project risks and coordinate mitigation plans with the customer. - Serve as Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for subcontract Statements of Work (SOW). Manage subcontractor tasking and approve subcontractor time sheets. - Work closely with other BAE functional managers to ensure resources from other areas are available and utilized as needed. - Fulfill duties as a lead and supervisor of approximately 8 - 12 technicians and supply support personnel including subcontractors. These duties include: dissemination of administrative information to the team, professionally develop of team members, task delegation, performance of periodic reviews, interfacing with subcontractor leadership on personnel matters, etc.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Skills and Education: • High School diploma and a minimum of 8 years experience working on ISO 9001 or equivalent quality controlled production projects • Personnel management experience • Project management experience • Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite • Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with personnel, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers • Technical experience associated with Interrogator Set AN/UPX-24(V)

Preferred Skills and Education: • At least 6 years of direct experience on DoD production projects • Familiarity with Interrogator Set AN/UPX-24(V) production • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 audits and audit preparations • Familiarity with Adept and technical drawing packages • Experience at managing bills of materials (BOMs)
