In the Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions (PS) business area we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Within this setting, our Operations employees turn innovative engineering designs into real solutions to meet our customers’ needs. In this role you will be at the forefront of the art of the possible leading the development supply chain strategies within the strategic missiles’ portfolio.

The Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) is a leadership role within the Supply Chain function, reporting directly to the Strategic Missiles Supply Chain Director. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance to a cross functional team and will be accountable for the overall multi-sourcing & supply chain risk management strategy within the strategic missiles portfolio.

In this role you will: • Be accountable for the portfolios multi-sourcing strategies through identification, solicitation, development and qualification of new sources. • Oversee the execution of multisource efforts via subcontracts or general procurement through all phases of the program lifecycle. • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage multi sourcing efforts staying aligned to the project’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the portfolio needs. • Oversee the supply chain functions Risk & Opportunities inputs for Strategic Missiles. • Support Supply Chain Risk Management activities across the strategic missiles portfolio. • Delivering quality customer service to both internal and external customers and foster and maintain good supplier relationships, while driving a Zero-Defect mindset with suppliers.

Required Skills and Education: • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time • Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or Program Management in the Aerospace & Defense Industry • Strong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies • Experience in performing supply chain risk management activities such as sourcing segmentation, sub-tier mapping, & Risk and Opportunity management. • Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives • Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teams • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels • Ability to develop plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources • Ability to communicate with senior management regarding project performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives • Experience communicating externally either with customers or suppliers • Strong technical and business acumen

Preferred Skills and Education: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or operations • Prior experience as a project manager • Experience leading cross-functional teams / IPTs • Program Management Institute’s (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification • Demonstrated Risk Management experience • Experience with information systems such as Oracle • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) • Significant experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.) • Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously
