Job Description: • Lead the strategic planning and execution of a complex packaging production and kitting portfolio, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and customer milestones. • Develop comprehensive project plans and manage project operations across multiple complex projects concurrently. Create clear and attainable project objectives, assess/build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, schedule, scope, and quality. • Establish project management frameworks and governance for packaging initiatives, optimizing resource allocation and streamlining operational workflows across multiple programs. • Drive high-level negotiations and strategic partnerships with customers, teaming partners, and vendors to resolve systemic bottlenecks and optimize the parts procurement pipeline. • Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and opportunity assessments at the program level, proactively identifying systemic threats to the business and proposing corrective actions. • Develop and present technical briefings describing project status and performance metrics to inform internal and external stakeholders. Develop systems and tools to automate project performance metrics. • Identify, communicate, and manage risks/opportunities that impact project completion.

Required Skills and Education: • Expertise in portfolio management of logistics technical projects, balancing competing priorities across multiple high-visibility programs. • Ability to work/coordinate with internal/external customers/vendors to gather requirements, develop plans and execute to budgets/timelines as required. • Ability to work and deliver on short suspense tasking/products in a fast paced potentially stressful environment • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Customer's Project Management framework, capable of interpreting and applying guidelines to novel or complex scenarios. • Creates, incorporates, implements changes to schedule(s) • Working knowledge of Customer's organization, internal policies and processes • Project Organization/tracking • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Highly mission oriented • Required Education Level/Major: BS in a relevant technical discipline, with desired focus on management. Equivalent experience can be substituted for educational requirement. • At least 8-10 years of experience in a relevant technical or managerial discipline.

Preferred Skills and Education: • Strong product knowledge and familiarity with packaging production principles. • Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Access. • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly preferred. • Experience operating within the Earned Value Management System. • Knowledgeable in logistics support activities and applicable military standards/specifications • Ability to interpret DOD contracts, as well as vendor subcontracts and purchase orders (POs). Understanding of military acquisition cycle.
