Production Cntrl Planner Sr

Job Description: Respnsible for coordinating schedules, maintenance planning and procurement activities to ensure operations in Core Chemical manufacturing environment. This role requires strong organization, communications and collaboration with engineering, maintenance and subcontractor teams.Key Responsibilities: • Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Downtime Planning • Manage work orders in Maximo (create, update, distribute, and track completion). • Maintain the PM Down Day Calendar and schedule major maintenance. • Communicate downtime plans with management and production teams. • Engineering & Procurement Support • Coordinate craft work with engineering teams. • Track and manage critical spare parts inventory, adjusting levels as needed. • Process and monitor FourthShift Purchase Requests and subcontractor work (PMs, shutdowns, major maintenance). • Facility Walkthroughs & Issue Resolution • Identify and address maintenance needs. • Create work orders for operator-reported issues. • Implement 6S Lean Management improvements. • Project & Work Execution Management • Develop project timelines, coordinate downtime, and schedule craft work. • Prioritize maintenance tasks and modernization efforts. • Oversee corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) resolutions. • Daily Scheduling & Problem-Solving • Address urgent maintenance issues ("Show Stoppers"). • Align schedules with area maintenance and production teams.

Required Skills and Education: • Minimum of 5 years production/manufacturing experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education including personnel/supervisory responsibilities. • Knowledge/background of a variety of production support activities including manufacturing process flow, quality, environmental, engineering, and purchasing • Experience in production control, scheduling, or maintenance coordination. • Proficiency in Maximo and FourthShift (or similar CMMS/ERP systems). • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Knowledge of maintenance planning, procurement, and lean manufacturing principles.

Preferred Skills and Education: • Experience in chemical manufacturing processes. • Previous experience with Maximo, Kronos, and familiarity with handling and processing acids and/or energetic material.
