DRMP is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Lighting Engineer, PE to join our growing Transportation team in Orlando. Lead the design and analysis of roadway and transportation lighting systems. Develop construction plans, specifications, engineer’s estimates, technical reports, and supporting documentation. Perform lighting calculations, voltage drop analyses, and lighting justification reports. Design lighting systems for roadways, interchanges, bridges, site areas, and other transportation infrastructure. Coordinate with clients, utility companies, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. Ensure designs comply with applicable FDOT standards, NEC, NESC, and other applicable codes and design criteria. Evaluate and recommend innovative, sustainable, and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Support project managers with technical leadership, quality control, and project delivery. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and developing engineers. Participate in client coordination and contribute to the continued growth of DRMP’s transportation lighting practice.
