About this role
As a Prints and Validation Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering essential utility search and document preparation activities on behalf of our contract. You will prepare job packs for the operational teams prior to work being carried out. Activities to be performed include; using a variety of websites to carry out critical searches of local utility infrastructure in the geographical areas. Searches include checking for the presence of BT, electrical, gas and cable networks in the ground or above ground. Once safe dig checks have been carried out, you will collate information along with details of what work is to be delivered and the location into a ‘job pack’. This role requires a fantastic eye for detail and an ability to interrogate multiple utility systems to pull together critical information. Whilst repetitive, our operational teams absolutely rely on the accuracy of information before they start work. We are looking for someone to review incoming work orders raised by the client to identify the type and location of proposed works We are looking for someone to work across multiple utility organisations’ websites to check the location of utilities in the area; obtaining maps which show the exact locations of utilities in the location We are looking for someone to validate all information has been provided by the client at the point work has been promoted to Network Plus, together with the results of the local utility searches We are looking for someone to collate a ‘job pack’ with the relevant information, search results, client provided details and any maps / notes or points of reference We are looking for someone to ensure all information is stored electronically, in the correct filing structure, with the correct reference number against the relevant work order We are looking for someone to have a high threshold for carrying out repetitive searches and analysis whilst delivering an exceptional level of quality We are looking for someone to work well within a team – helping each other and sharing the workloads to ensure no one person is over-loaded
