At Ranch Animal Hospital, our Kennel Technicians are an important part of the veterinary team. You’ll help care for hospitalized and boarding pets, maintain a clean and welcoming hospital, and support the doctors, veterinary technicians, and client service team throughout the day. You won't just care for pets here. You'll become part of a team that cares about them, and each other. Schedule and Compensation $16.50–$18.00 per hour , based on experience Consistent Full-Time Schedule: Tuesday Thursday Friday Saturday A predictable schedule gives you the stability to build relationships with your teammates, patients, and clients while becoming an integral part of our hospital. As a Kennel Technician, you will help ensure our patients receive exceptional care while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Patient and Boarding Care Feed, walk, exercise, and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets Provide compassionate daily care for dogs and cats Administer medications as directed by the veterinary team Monitor patient behavior, appetite, comfort, and overall condition Communicate concerns promptly to the veterinary team Provide gentle, patient-focused handling throughout each pet's stay Hospital Support Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs, treatment areas, and equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment Assist with laundry, stocking, and daily hospital tasks Help maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and their families Be Part of the Team Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and animal handling Assist with patient restraint when appropriate Work closely with the client service team and other hospital departments Help keep patient care and daily hospital operations running smoothly Step in where needed and contribute to a positive team environment
